Job Summary:
The F&B Captain is responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring smooth restaurant and pub operations, and delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires strong leadership, floor control, product knowledge, and the ability to manage high-energy nightlife operations and all-day dining service.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Experience:
Greet guests and ensure they receive prompt, warm, and professional service.
Manage guest seating, table plans, and reservations.
Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints confidently and efficiently.
Ensure VIP and repeat guests receive personalized attention.
Monitor service quality and ensure SOPs are followed consistently.
Supervision & Team Handling:
Lead and supervise F&B Stewards and Associates throughout the shift.
Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure smooth floor operations.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and provide training on menu and beverage knowledge.
Support the team during peak hours, especially during nightlife operations.
Bar & Lounge Coordination:
Coordinate with the bar team for timely service of beverages.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
Guide team on upselling beverages and promoting signature drinks.
Ensure responsible service of alcohol.
Operational Excellence:
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tables, stations, and service areas.
Oversee buffet setups, mise-en-place, and shift preparations.
Control the floor during peak business hours and special themed nights.
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are strictly followed.
Billing & Cash Handling:
Handle billing procedures using POS systems.
Check bill accuracy and assist staff with settlements.
Ensure proper shift closing, sales reporting, and cashiering procedures.

Skills & Requirements:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of F&B service and bar operations.
Presentable, confident, and able to handle high-pressure scenarios.
Comfortable working in a nightlife/pub environment.
Guest-focused, energetic, and team-oriented.
Experience in pubs, lounges, restro bars, or hotel restaurants preferred.

Education & Experience:
Minimum HSC or Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management.
2-5 years of experience in F&B service with at least 1 year as Captain/Shift Leader.
Age: 25 to 28 years (mandatory).*
