Supervise the daily activities of the wait staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Ensure that all staff members adhere to service standards and policies.
Conduct pre-service briefings and ensure staff are well-informed about the menu, special promotions, and any service instructions.
Train and mentor new staff members.
Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and ensure that they receive excellent service throughout their dining experience.
Address guest complaints and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
Take and serve orders accurately, and ensure that all food and beverages are served according to the company's standards.
Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Manage special requests and dietary requirements, ensuring they are conveyed to the kitchen accurately.
Coordinate food pick-up from the kitchen, ensuring the right presentation and temperature.
