The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests. The role requires professionalism, product knowledge, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating
Present menus, explain specials, and answer guest queries
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
Ensure guest satisfaction and handle complaints politely, escalating when required
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment
Set up and clear tables according to service standards
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
Handle billing and payment processes accurately (if applicable)
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
Assist in inventory handling and stock replenishment
Comply with company policies, grooming, and service standards
Skills & Competencies
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Basic knowledge of food and beverages
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certification in Food Safety/Hygiene is an advantage
Prior experience in hospitality or F&B service preferred (freshers may apply)
