We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fashion trends, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to plan and manage product ranges effectively. This role involves coordinating with designers, vendors, and retail teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Research current fashion trends, customer preferences, and market demands.
- Plan and develop product ranges in coordination with design and production teams.
- Select fabrics, colours, and styles based on trends and target audience.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for pricing, quality, and timelines.
- Work closely with marketing teams for product promotions and launches.
- Ensure timely delivery of merchandise to stores/online platforms.
- Maintain and update product sheets, pricing, and assortment details.
- Travel to exhibitions, markets, and vendor locations when required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Strong sense of fashion trends and consumer behaviour.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
