Trend Analysis & Forecasting:

Researching and predicting future fashion trends and customer preferences.

Product Planning:

Working with buyers to determine quantities, styles, and variations of items to purchase.

Sourcing & Negotiation:

Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating prices, delivery, and terms.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring stock levels, ensuring smooth inventory flow, and managing product lifecycles (promotions, markdowns).

Visual Merchandising:

Designing attractive store layouts, window displays, and in-store presentations to entice customers.

Sales & Marketing:

Developing marketing strategies, analyzing sales data, and contributing to campaigns.

Budgeting:

Ensuring purchasing stays within budget and forecasting profits.
