Areas of Responsibility: Managing the website backend for formatting and uploading stories across the fashion section Pitching ideas to the fashion features editor for digital features for the fashion section Commissioning articles to freelance and in-house writers Assisting the fashion features editor in editing and proofreading digital stories under the fashion section Covering fashion news and trends with a special focus on exclusive features Maintaining relationships with advertisers and supporting with content keeping in mind our editorial standards Networking with key stakeholders at industry events Overseeing roll out of digital and print stories and providing necessary input for promoting them on social media Requirements: Must have a predisposition to stay updated on industry trends and fashion news Good research skills and the ability to work independently Must be self-motivated and able to meet tight daily digital deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to collaborate with others Must possess a strong interest in the fashion industry Bachelor\'s degree (preferably but not necessarily in journalism, communications or related liberal arts major) Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted based on years of experience.
