Job Summary:

Lakhotia College of Design is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and industry-aware

Fashion Design Faculty

at

Junior to Senior levels

. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic foundation in fashion design, a passion for teaching, and the ability to deliver subjects effectively with a balance of theory and practical exposure.

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate in Fashion Design (Mandatory)

(Degree from a recognized institute/university in India)

Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage (for senior roles) Teaching experience preferred (fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge may be considered for junior roles)

Subjects to be Handled (as per expertise):

Fashion Illustration Pattern Making Garment Construction Textile Science & Fabric Studies Surface Ornamentation & Embellishments Fashion Designing (Core) Fashion Portfolio Development Fashion Styling & Trend Analysis Draping CAD for Fashion (Basic knowledge preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging

theory and practical sessions

as per the curriculum Demonstrate strong

subject knowledge and clarity in teaching

Guide students in

design development, portfolios, and projects

Support students in workshops, exhibitions, fashion shows, and industry activities Assist in syllabus execution, assessments, and evaluations Mentor students for academic growth and industry readiness Stay updated with

current fashion trends and industry practices

Required Skills & Qualities:

Strong

passion for teaching and mentoring students

Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to

deliver subjects effectively

with practical relevance Student-friendly, approachable, and motivating personality Commitment to academic excellence and institutional values

Experience Level:

Junior Faculty:

0-2 years (Freshers with strong skills may apply)

Mid-Level Faculty:

2-5 years

Senior Faculty:

5+ years (Industry or academic experience)
