Design and develop women's western wear collections in
woven and knitwear
categories.
Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes relevant to the target market.
Create mood boards, concept boards, and seasonal themes.
Prepare detailed
tech packs
, sketches, and design specifications.
Coordinate with the
sampling, merchandising, and production teams
to ensure design accuracy.
Follow up on samples and make necessary corrections.
Ensure designs are aligned with cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
Work closely with vendors for fabric, trims, and embellishment sourcing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in
Fashion Design
or a related field.
2-3 years of hands-on experience in
women's western wear (woven & knitwear)
.
Strong understanding of
fabrics, fits, garment construction, and trends
.
Proficiency in
CorelDRAW / Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
(preferred).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
