Key Responsibilities:

Design ethnic wear collections (sarees, lehengas, kurtis, etc.) based on market trends and customer preferences Create design sketches, patterns, and oversee sampling Work closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure accurate execution of designs Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials Ensure timely delivery of design samples and bulk production Maintain design documentation and mood boards Communicate effectively with the team and vendors

Requirements:

Minimum

2 years of experience

in fashion design, preferably in ethnic wear Strong understanding of fabrics, embroidery, color combinations, and ethnic silhouettes Proficiency in design tools (manual or software-based) Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment A degree/diploma in Fashion Design is preferred
