Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented

Fashion Designer

to join our boutique team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing bespoke outfits, coordinating with clients for custom orders, managing the production process, and actively participating in planning and executing fashion-related events and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Production:

Create original clothing designs aligned with the boutique's style and customer preferences. Develop seasonal collections and custom client orders (bridal, festive, casual, etc.). Source fabrics, trims, and accessories while staying within budgets. Work closely with tailors and embroidery teams to oversee the sample and final production process. Maintain quality control from sketch to final outfit.

Client Interaction:

Conduct consultations with clients for custom designs. Provide styling advice and design recommendations based on body type, occasion, and trends. Manage fitting sessions and ensure client satisfaction.

Event & Exhibition Coordination:

Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and organize in-house fashion events, styling workshops, pop-ups, and exhibitions. Design and prepare collections for events and shows. Represent the boutique at fashion expos and collaborate with influencers/stylists as needed. Coordinate with vendors, stylists, models, and event partners for smooth execution.

Trend & Market Research:

Stay updated with current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and techniques. Integrate trend insights into boutique collections and event themes.

Required Skills:

Strong fashion sketching, design, and garment construction knowledge Excellent knowledge of fabrics, draping, color theory, and patterns Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction Time management and multitasking (especially during event prep) Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW (optional)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Diploma in Fashion Design or related field Experience in a boutique or customized clothing environment preferred Exposure to event coordination or fashion shows is a plus
