: 2 to 3+ years (Experience in Kids wear Preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and develop collections for Newborn & Kids wear categories.
Create mood boards, trend boards, CADs, flat sketches, and tech packs.
Work with the merchandising team to align designs with cost, fit, and seasonal plans.
Select fabrics, trims, and develop AOP/placement prints suited for each style.
Coordinate with the sampling team for proto, fit samples, and strike-off approvals.
Conduct design reviews and present concepts to management for approval.
Perform trend research and sales analysis to design commercially viable collections.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design (NIFT background preferred).
2+ years of experience in fashion/apparel design (D2C or export background preferred).
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Canva.
Strong understanding of fabric behavior, garment construction, and printing techniques.
Experience working on tech packs, sampling, and production coordination.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
