Key Responsibilities

Design fashion collections aligned with the brand's aesthetic and target customer Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and design concepts Develop patterns, silhouettes, and garment specifications Select suitable fabrics, trims, colours, and embellishments within budget constraints Work closely with tailors, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure accurate execution Review samples and oversee fittings, alterations, and final approvals Adapt designs for custom orders (length, sleeves, necklines, etc.) Stay updated on fashion trends, customer preferences, and market demand Ensure designs are commercially viable and production-friendly
Requirements

Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric behaviour Ability to design for modest and occasion wear (preferred) Skilled in sketching (hand-drawn or digital) Good understanding of fit, sizing, and finishing Strong attention to detail and creativity Ability to work within deadlines and budgets
Nice to Have

Experience designing for South Asian / modest fashion markets Knowledge of production processes and sourcing Experience working with made-to-order or small-batch production Understanding of customer-led design and customisation
