PRAYANVI is a growing Indian saree brand committed to celebrating traditional craftsmanship and timeless weaves. We are looking for a

creative and skilled Fashion Designer

with a minimum of 2 years of experience to support our saree design, development, and production process.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of

Indian textiles, color combinations, trends, and detailing

Key Responsibilities

Designing sarees and ethnic wear collections aligned with PRAYANVI's brand vision Developing new designs, patterns, motifs, and color palettes Creating design sketches (hand-drawn or digital) Selecting fabrics, weaves, borders, and pallu designs Coordinating with weavers, vendors, and production teams Assisting in sampling, fittings, and final approvals Researching market trends, customer preferences, and traditional techniques Maintaining design documentation and season-wise collections

Experience Required

Minimum

2 years

in fashion design

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fashion Designer Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field Strong knowledge of sarees, Indian textiles, and ethnic wear Good understanding of fabric sourcing and production processes Ability to translate concepts into commercial designs Creativity with attention to detail Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience working with handloom or traditional weaves Knowledge of embroidery, prints, and surface development Passion for Indian craftsmanship and sustainable fashion
