Key Responsibilities:Trend Research: Study fashion trends, cultural influences, and market needs to anticipate popular designs.Design & Conceptualization: Develop themes, sketch original designs, and use CAD programs for digital creation.Material Selection: Choose fabrics, colors, trims, and embellishments for garments.Collaboration: Work with pattern makers, production teams, and other designers to develop prototypes.Production Oversight: Guide manufacturers and oversee the production process to ensure quality and vision alignment.Presentation: Present designs to creative directors, buyers, or showcase them at fashion shows.Marketing: Work with marketing teams to sell designs to retailers or consumers. Essential Skills & Qualifications:Creativity & Vision: Ability to develop unique, marketable designs.Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (CAD) and understanding of garment construction.Market Awareness: Knowledge of current and future trends.Communication: Effectively present ideas and collaborate with teams.Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring quality and accuracy in production.
