Mermaid Boutique is looking for a

skilled and creative Fashion Designer

with hands-on experience in

bridal wear and custom stitching

. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and translating their ideas into perfectly fitted, elegant designs.

Key Responsibilities

Take

client measurements

and understand design requirements Create and customize

bridal blouses, bridal wear, and designer outfits

Guide customers on

fabric selection, fit, and design details

Prepare design concepts and explain them clearly to clients Coordinate with

cutters, tailors, and handwork staff

to ensure design accuracy Supervise stitching and fittings to maintain

quality and finishing standards

Handle trial fittings and make necessary corrections Ensure timely completion of orders as per delivery schedule

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum

2+ years experience

as a Fashion Designer in a boutique Strong knowledge of

bridal blouse designing and custom stitching

Understanding of

fabrics, embroidery, handwork, and finishing

Ability to manage multiple orders and clients simultaneously Good communication and customer-handling skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

bridal boutiques or tailoring units

Basic sketching or design visualization skills Knowledge of South Indian bridal styles is an added advantage

Working Hours:

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Shop Timing:

10:00 AM - 7:30 PM
