Job Summary:

Avantra is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented

Fashion Designer

to manage customer interactions, tailoring orders, and production coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure that every customer receives garments with

perfect fit, finish, and design

, while maintaining Avantra's quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact directly with customers to understand their

tailoring requirements, design preferences, fabric choices, and fitting expectations

. Receive and manage

custom tailoring orders

, ensuring all measurements and specifications are accurately recorded. Provide

design guidance and styling suggestions

to customers based on trends, body type, and occasion. Coordinate closely with the

production and tailoring team

to communicate design details, measurements, and timelines clearly. Monitor the

progress of tailoring orders

and ensure timely completion as per delivery commitments. Conduct fittings, identify alterations if required, and ensure corrections are implemented accurately. Ensure final garments meet Avantra's standards for

fit, comfort, quality, and aesthetics

before delivery to the customer. Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve any fit or design-related concerns. Maintain proper records of orders, measurements, and alterations. Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in

Fashion Design / Garment Technology

(preferred). Experience in

custom tailoring, boutique, or designer wear

is an advantage. Strong understanding of

measurements, fittings, fabrics, and garment construction

. Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Fluency in Kannada is a MUST

(English and Hindi are an added advantage). Customer-focused attitude with a keen eye for detail. Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders efficiently.

Preferred Qualities:

Passion for fashion and design. Patience and professionalism while dealing with customers. Ability to work collaboratively with tailors and production staff. Commitment to delivering high-quality, well-finished garments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
