Key Responsibilities
Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes
Create original design concepts, sketches, and mood boards
Develop collections aligned with brand identity and target market
Select fabrics, trims, colors, and accessories
Prepare technical drawings and design specifications
Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams
Oversee sampling, fittings, and design modifications
Ensure quality, fit, and finish of final garments
Meet project timelines and seasonal deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW)
Strong understanding of textiles, garment construction, and fit
Excellent creativity, sketching, and visualization skills
Knowledge of fashion trends and market demands
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and time-management skills
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Experience in luxury, ethnic, or ready-to-wear segments
Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices
