Key Responsibilities:
Expected Start Date: 15/04/2024
- Design Conceptualization:
- Develop creative concepts and themes for fashion collections based on market research, trend analysis, and brand identity.
- Create sketches, mood boards, and design prototypes to visually communicate design ideas.
- Trend Research:
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, industry developments, and cultural influences.
- Conduct trend research through attending fashion shows, reviewing fashion publications, and analyzing social media trends.
- Material Selection:
- Source and select fabrics, trims, and other materials for use in designs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability and quality of materials.
- Pattern Making and Prototyping:
- Create patterns and technical specifications for garment construction.
- Oversee the development of prototypes and samples, ensuring accurate interpretation of design concepts.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop marketing materials and promotional strategies for new collections.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct fittings and garment evaluations to assess fit, functionality, and overall quality.
- Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback and quality control standards.
- Presentation and Communication:
- Present design concepts and collections to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate design ideas, inspiration, and technical details to relevant parties.
- Brand Representation:
- Maintain brand integrity and ensure that designs reflect the brand\'s aesthetic and vision.
- Represent the brand at events, fashion shows, and industry gatherings as needed.
- Day shift
