About the Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our boutique team. The ideal

candidate will contribute to designing capsule collections, managing client orders, and supporting

brand growth within a fast-paced startup environment. This role is ideal for someone who is

passionate about fashion, understands textiles and production, and wants to grow with a young,

evolving brand

Key Responsibilities

- Create sketches, concepts, and mood boards for capsule collections.

- Develop detailed CAD drawings using tools like Procreate, CAD software, and hand-

sketching.

- Ensure accuracy and clarity in technical sketches for sampling and production.

- Handle client consultations, understand requirements, and offer design suggestions.

- Take and process custom orders efficiently and professionally.

- Work closely with manufacturers to ensure timely sampling and production.

- Utilize existing contacts with tailors, artisans, or garment manufacturers to streamline the

process.

- Select appropriate fabrics and trims based on design intent and client needs.

- Apply strong understanding of textiles, fabric behaviour, and garment construction while

designing.

- Source fabrics and materials as needed for upcoming collections.

- Meet seasonal design and production targets.

- Contribute ideas to improve design processes, brand identity, and overall business

development.

- Be willing to learn, adapt, and grow with the startup's long-term vision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fashion Designer Strong sketching abilities--both hand-drawn and digital. Proficiency in CAD, Procreate, Adobe tools, or similar design software. Excellent understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction. Strong communication skills and client-handling capabilities. Ability to work under target timelines and manage multiple orders. Familiarity with production processes and vendor coordination. Motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic about growing with the brand.
