Design and develop new apparel collections as per brand theme and market trends (Kids Wear)
Create sketches, mood boards, color palettes, and fabric selection
Coordinate with sampling and production teams for proto, fit, and final samples
Ensure designs are aligned with cost, quality, and timeline requirements
Merchandising:
Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per design and budget
Coordinate with vendors, factories, and suppliers for production follow-ups
Manage order sheets, costing, production schedules, and delivery timelines
Conduct quality checks to ensure product standards are maintained
Market & Trend Analysis:
Research current fashion trends, competitor products, and customer preferences
Assist in pricing strategy and product positioning
Coordination & Reporting:
Act as a bridge between design, production, and sales teams
Maintain documentation related to designs, samples, and orders
Provide regular updates on production status to management
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fit
Understanding of merchandising processes and vendor coordination
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop is a plus
Good communication and negotiation skills
Education:
Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile Designing, or related field
