Job Description

Job Summary:

The Fashion Designer is responsible for creating innovative and stylish clothing and accessories by researching fashion trends, developing design concepts, and collaborating with production teams to bring designs from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Research current and emerging fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and techniques Create original design concepts, sketches, and illustrations Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for designs Develop samples and prototypes in coordination with pattern makers and tailors Work closely with production and merchandising teams Customise designs based on brand or client requirements Ensure designs meet quality, fit, and cost standards Manage design timelines and adhere to budgets Participate in fashion shows, exhibitions, and market research visits

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field Strong sketching and illustration skills Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fittings Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Experience:

1 to 5 years (as per company requirements)

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
