About the internship

This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the fashion industry and provides exposure to the creative and practical elements of fashion design.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in Design Conceptualization: Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for new fashion collections or products
2. Research and Trend Analysis: contribute fresh ideas to the design process
3. Sketching and Design Creation: Assist in creating sketches, drawings, or digital renderings of fashion concepts, detailing garment specifications
4. Technical Drawings: Assist in developing technical drawings and specifications that outline construction details for prototypes and samples
5. Documentation: Maintain organized records of design concepts, sketches, fabric swatches, and other design-related materials

Qualifications:

1. Currently in last semester/year or recent graduate of a fashion design, apparel design, or related program
2. Passion for fashion, creativity, and a strong eye for design aesthetics
3. Proficiency in sketching and using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or fashion design tools
4. Basic understanding of garment construction
5. Strong research skills and techniques
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
7. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing
8. Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing design needs and priorities
10. Prior experience, coursework, or portfolio showcasing design skills is a plus
