Job Description

Arth Life is looking for a fast-thinking and creative fashion intern for its Pune office. The ideal candidate is creative and confident. Excellent customer service track record is a plus. Computer skills are essential, and on-the-job training may be provided.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment

Self-driven with desire and initiative to accomplish tasks efficient and organised

mature, confident and enthusiastic personality

Excellent communication skills(English is Must)

Administrative tasks

Along with fashion-related duties, many fashion interns may also perform administrative tasks around their workplace. They may answer telephone calls, check and reply to emails and update a company's social media pages. As an intern, you may also produce promotional and marketing materials, such as press releases, advertisements and monthly newsletters. Interns may also prepare and arrange meetings.

Design

Many interns can perform tasks necessary to ensure the design process flows smoothly for the fashion house or publication. As part of their work, an intern may research trends and fashions, selecting and presenting images and ideas they believe the designer may appreciate.

Photoshoots

A fashion intern may plan and assist a designer or retailer with routine photo shoots. They may also organise samples for fashion magazines to use in upcoming issues, keeping track of the item and their size, colour and designer.

Special events

Interns can have a busy calendar, as the fashion industry can involve many events such as product launches, fashion shows and publicity parties. In large establishments, the interns may help plan notable media and national or international fashion-related events. Some interns may help invite guests while others may correspond with the media and catering services. Drafting press releases can be another task fashion interns complete.
