Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and innovative Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and developing fashion collections that align with current trends and brand identity. Duties

Develop original fashion concepts and design collections that reflect current trends and brand aesthetics Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas effectively Select appropriate fabrics, colours, and materials for each collection Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams to bring designs to life Conduct market research to stay abreast of emerging trends, competitors, and customer preferences Present designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final collections Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst adhering to deadlines Organise and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of design work for presentation purposes

Skills

Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills for presenting ideas clearly and effectively Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide team members during the design process Experience in teaching or mentoring junior designers is advantageous Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently Advanced IT skills including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) for creating detailed designs Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams Creative flair combined with a keen eye for detail and colour harmony
