Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with designers for new product development, trends, and seasonal collections.
Handle sampling, approvals, and quality checks of garments/products.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and production units for orders and timelines.
Track production stages and ensure on-time delivery of products.
Maintain product catalogues, pricing sheets, and costing data.
Monitor fabric, trims, accessories, and inventory related to production.
Analyze fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor products.
Support photo shoots, styling, and product presentation when needed.
Coordinate with marketing team for promotions, launches, and brand visuals.
Prepare weekly or monthly merchandising reports for management.
Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout production.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile, or Merchandising.
2-4 years of experience as a merchandiser in fashion, apparel, or product industry.
Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, patterns, and garment construction.
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory software, or merchandising tools.
