The Fashion Consultant will be responsible for delivering a personalized styling and sales experience to clients, assisting them in selecting couture and occasion-wear, managing client relationships, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with Indian ethnic fashion, trends, fabrics, and styling aesthetics.
Provide personalized styling recommendations based on client preferences, body type, and occasion.
Assist brides, grooms, and families in selecting ensembles from couture and pret collections.
Educate clients on fabrics, embroidery techniques, fit, and customization options.
2. Sales & Customer Experience
Drive store sales by offering exceptional service and curated product suggestions.
Understand client needs and showcase relevant pieces to enhance their shopping experience.
Handle client queries regarding product details, pricing, alterations, and delivery timelines.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with high-value clients and maintain a client database.
Conduct follow-ups for trials, delivery updates, and upcoming launches.
Resolve client concerns professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Store Presentation & VM
Maintain store aesthetics and ensure merchandise is presented per brand guidelines.
Coordinate with the visual merchandising team for new launches, displays, and styling.
Ensure sections are well-stocked, organized, and presentable at all times.
5. Coordination with Production & Alterations
Communicate customization requests and measurements to the production/alteration teams.
Track sample readiness, fittings, and final delivery schedules.
Ensure timely communication between the client and production team for a seamless experience.
6. Trend Knowledge & Product Understanding
Stay updated with fashion trends, silhouettes, colors, bridal wear styles, and competitive brands.
Provide insights on client preferences and frequently requested customizations to the design and merchandising teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Retail, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in luxury fashion consulting, retail styling, or couture sales.
Strong understanding of Indian ethnicwear, couture, and contemporary styling.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Confident, presentable, and well-groomed with a strong fashion sense.
Ability to handle high-end clientele with grace and professionalism.
Basic proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and stock management systems (preferred).
