Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Agricultural Expert in day-to-day field activities related to saffron farming and cold storage operations. Monitor and maintain the condition and functioning of cold storage for saffron. Coordinate with farmers, vendors, and local workers as per project needs. Handle documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of farming and storage activities. Support in procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Conduct local travel within Ludhiana and nearby areas as required for farm visits, procurement, or liaison work. Ensure hygiene, safety, and storage standards are maintained as per project guidelines. Assist during inspection visits, trials, and project reviews.

Requirements:

Must be a

local candidate from Ludhiana or nearby areas

. Background in agriculture or farming-related projects is preferred. Basic knowledge of saffron farming or willingness to learn. Ability to work in rural/agricultural settings. Should be responsible, proactive, and able to handle physical farm tasks. Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred for local travel.
