Key Responsibilities
Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per family requirements.
Cook various vegetarian items including:
Sabzi (dry & gravy), dal, rice, roti, paratha, puri, khichdi
Paneer dishes, soya items
Veg biryani, pulao, poha, upma, chapati
Salads, soups, chutney, pickles, and snacks.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
Clean utensils and cooking equipment after meals (if included in duty).
Manage and store ingredients properly.
Follow dietary preferences such as low oil, less spice, diabetic meals, kids-friendly meals etc.
Assist with grocery list planning and stock management.
Ensure food is fresh, healthy, and prepared in a timely manner.
Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years' experience
as a vegetarian cook (home, restaurant, or catering preferred).
Knowledge of Indian regional cuisines Understanding of vegetarian nutrition and healthy cooking techniques.
Ability to follow recipes or cook as per family's taste preferences.
