Description
In this role, you will work in a lab environment on various high-end analytical tools, be responsible for using your engineering and scientific knowledge to figure out the root cause of product failure and recommend corrective actions, as well as present the findings to global teams and executives: Understand the failure background and design the investigation plan Conduct the investigation, including but not limited to operating Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Focused Ion Beam (FIB) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX/EDS). Report your findings and discuss or debate with your colleagues on the next steps, conclusions, and corrective actions Present the data in global meetings and/or executive reviews
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experienced in operating Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems and performing elemental characterisation using Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX/EDS).
  • Fluent English, highly effective communication skills including the ability to seek out direction, listen to feedback, as well as communicate complex findings in a concise and understandable form
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and work scope change to meet business needs, strong aptitude for learning new techniques.
  • Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple high-priority tasks at the same time.
