Description
In this role, you will work in a lab environment on various electrical characterisation and fault isolation tools. You will be responsible for performing hands-on electrical failure analysis to debug issues and precisely isolate the failures for further analysis. You will have the opportunity to be creative and use your engineering and scientific knowledge to figure out the root cause of product failure and recommend corrective actions, as well as present the findings to global teams and executives: Understand the failure background and design the investigation plan Conduct the investigation utilising various bench-top electrical equipment and fault isolation techniques such as Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR), Lock-in Thermography (LIT), Infrared (IR) Imaging, etc. Report your findings and discuss or debate with your colleagues on the next steps, conclusions, and corrective actions Present the data in global meetings and/or executive reviews
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in using Digital Multi-Meter (DMM), Source Measure Unit (SMU, Spectrum Analyser, Oscilloscopes and fault isolation techniques such as Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) and Lock-in Thermography (LIT).
• A good understanding of PCB design (Ability to comprehend Gerber files, Layouts, Netlist, Component Schematics) and system-level assembly drawings / CAD files.
• Fluent English, highly effective communication skills, including the ability to seek out direction, listen to feedback, as well as communicate complex findings in a concise and understandable form

• Analog, high-speed digital design/testing/Failure analysis experience.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and work scope change to meet business needs, strong aptitude for learning new techniques.
• Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple high-priority tasks at the same time.
