Assistant Professor - Humanities / Indian Knowledge System

. The role involves teaching foundational and value-based courses focused on Indian knowledge traditions, culture, philosophy, ethics, and heritage, in alignment with university curriculum and NEP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

Indian Knowledge System / Humanities

courses at the undergraduate level Deliver lectures as per

university-prescribed syllabus

and academic calendar Integrate Indian traditions, values, philosophy, and cultural perspectives into teaching Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools Conduct internal assessments, assignments, and examinations Mentor students and promote ethical, cultural, and value-based education Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental activities Support institutional requirements related to

NAAC, IQAC, AICTE, and university compliance

Engage in academic research, publications, seminars, and workshops (desirable)

Skills & Competencies:

Strong subject knowledge in

Indian history, philosophy, culture, and ethics

Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to engage students through discussion-based and experiential learning Familiarity with

outcome-based education (OBE)

and continuous evaluation Interest in interdisciplinary and value-oriented education

Experience:

Minimum 2years teaching experience in higher education will be an advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
