Job Summary:

Chanakya Academy invites applications for the position of

Assistant Professor - Environmental Science

. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Environmental Science, fostering environmental awareness, and contributing to academic and institutional development in line with AICTE and university norms.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

Environmental Science

courses at the undergraduate level (BCA / BBA / other programs as applicable) Deliver engaging lectures aligned with the

university-prescribed syllabus

Promote awareness of

sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, and environmental protection

Design and evaluate

assignments, internal assessments, and examinations

Encourage experiential learning through

field visits, projects, seminars, and activities

Mentor students and support their academic and personal development Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental activities Contribute to

NAAC, IQAC, AICTE, and university-related academic processes

Engage in research, publications, and professional development (desirable)

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Strong subject knowledge in

Environmental Studies, Ecology, and Sustainability

Effective

communication and classroom management skills

Ability to integrate

contemporary environmental issues

into teaching Familiarity with

outcome-based education (OBE)

and continuous evaluation methods Interest in interdisciplinary learning and institutional initiatives

Experience:

Minimum 2 years teaching experience in higher education institutions is preferred

Additional Expectations:

Active participation in

academic events, workshops, and seminars

Contribution to student engagement activities and community outreach Willingness to adopt innovative teaching practices and digital tools

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
