: Faculty Position in Mathematics @MARINE COLLEGE, KALPAKKAM

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Faculty member in Mathematics for our esteemed Marine College located in Kalpakkam. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in either an Engineering college or a Marine college. The age limit for applicants is a maximum of 50 years.

Position Overview:

As a Faculty member specializing in Mathematics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our students. Your expertise in Mathematics will contribute to the academic excellence and professional development of aspiring marine professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Delivery:

Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops in various mathematical topics relevant to marine engineering and navigation. Ensure that course content is up-to-date, aligned with curriculum standards, and meets the learning objectives.

2. Student Engagement:

Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and personal growth.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate students' understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to facilitate their learning progress.

4. Curriculum Development:

Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Mathematics curriculum, incorporating best practices and innovative teaching methodologies. Integrate real-world applications of Mathematics into the curriculum to enhance students' understanding and relevance.

5. Professional Development:

Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in Mathematics education and teaching pedagogies. Engage in continuous professional development activities, such as attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics at an Engineering college or a Marine college. Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, particularly in areas relevant to marine engineering and navigation. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex mathematical concepts to students. Commitment to student success, academic excellence, and continuous improvement. Age limit: Maximum 50 years.

Salary:

3 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum
