Job Summary:

Faculty Member for the Department of Design

. The ideal candidate will bring a strong academic background and industry experience to inspire and educate the next generation of design professionals. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, developing curriculum, guiding student projects, and contributing to the department's research and creative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lectures, studio classes, and workshops across various design subjects such as [Graphic Design / Fashion Design / Product Design / Interior Design / Communication Design - customize as needed]. Develop and update course content, instructional materials, and assessment criteria in line with current design trends and industry standards. Guide and mentor students on academic, research, and portfolio development projects. Supervise final-year and thesis projects; participate in juries, exhibitions, and design critiques. Engage in scholarly research, creative practices, or professional consultancy in design. Contribute to curriculum design and departmental planning, ensuring academic excellence. Participate in academic committees, student reviews, industry partnerships, and outreach initiatives. Foster a studio culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, experimentation, and critical thinking. Maintain active involvement with professional design communities and industry developments.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's Degree (M.Des., MFA, M.Arch., or equivalent) in Design or related discipline from a recognized institution. Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in design education or relevant professional industry experience. Strong design portfolio showcasing expertise in relevant specialization. Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Figma - as applicable). Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
