Job Description

The Faculty Member in Hospital Administration will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic guidance in the areas of hospital administration, healthcare management, and relevant business studies. The role involves curriculum development, industry collaboration, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic excellence of the institution.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver lectures, workshops, and seminars on subjects such as:

Hospital Administration Healthcare Management Health Economics Healthcare Operations & Quality Management Human Resource Management Finance & Accounting for Healthcare Business Studies (Marketing, Strategy, Management Principles) Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, case studies, and assessments. Ensure outcome-based education (OBE) and continuous improvement in teaching methods. Guide students in internships, capstone projects, dissertations, and fieldwork.

Academic & Administrative Duties



Participate in curriculum design, revision, and academic planning. Assist in accreditation processes Maintain academic records, evaluation sheets, and report student performance. Serve on academic committees and contribute to department development.

Industry Collaboration



Coordinate with hospitals, healthcare organizations, NGOs, and industry bodies for guest lectures, internships, and placements. Organize industrial visits, conferences, and workshops.

Student Development



Provide academic counseling and career guidance. Promote professional ethics, leadership, and soft skills among students.

Qualifications Essential



Degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Health Administration / Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent. Strong academic record and subject expertise.

Preferred



PhD in Hospital Administration, Health Management, Public Health, or Business Administration. Teaching or industry experience in hospitals, healthcare systems, or business organizations.

Skills Required



Expertise in healthcare operations, quality standards, hospital finance, HR, and health laws. Strong understanding of business management concepts. Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills. Ability to develop case studies and experiential learning modules. Proficiency in digital tools, LMS platforms, and blended learning methodologies.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week
