We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hair Faculty Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of hair techniques, from basic cuts to advanced styling, colour theory, and the latest industry trends. The Hair Faculty Instructor will ensure that students receive a well-rounded education, preparing them for success in the ever-evolving beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities/Required skills:

Course/Subject Delivery:

Deliver engaging and informative lessons on hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments.

Skills Required:

Hair Science / Hair Anatomy

Hair Styling

Advance Hair Do

International Hair Styling

Male & Female Hair Cuts (basic & advance levels)

Chemical work (Colouring& techniques, perming, Smoothening/Rebounding/ Straightening)

Advance hair treatments

Practical Instruction:

Provide hands-on training, demonstrating various makeup techniques and applications, and guiding students through practical exercises.

Student Mentorship:

Offer guidance, support, and feedback to students, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Assessment and Evaluation:

Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare them for industry standards.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, techniques and products in the Hair industry, ensuring curriculum relevance.

Resource & Time Management:

Manage course materials, equipment, maintain the students' attendance records and student lab records, manage class schedules, and effectively deliver contents & ensuring a well-organized, efficient learning environment.

Professional Development:

Attend workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Professional Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders, fostering a positive learning environment.

Potential Additional Duties:

It includes managing stock, coordinating with other departments, supporting workshops, assisting with placement efforts. Creative flair, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for Hair dressing and education.

Academic or Trade Qualifications:

Diploma in Hair Designing/Technology + Hair Level 4, or

Advance Diploma in Hair Designing/Technology + Hair Level 4, from the reputed academy.

Experienced: At least 4 years' experience of Hair dresser/stylist and as Trainer

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in bridal/fashion/editorial /salon industry

Minimum Teaching/training experience is 1-2 years

Total experience-4 year
