Qualification:

MA in English and B.Ed

:

The Senior English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students in middle and senior grades (typically Grades 9-12) for CBSE and IGCSE board.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English language and literature.

Foster critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication in students.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.

Assess students' progress regularly and provide timely feedback.

Align the curriculum with board standards (e.g., CBSE/IGCSE)

Prepare students for board exams and other academic competitions.

Identify and support students with varied learning needs.

Guide and support junior English faculty through lesson observations and feedback.

Candidate Profile:

An ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in English from a reputed university together with relevant Cambridge certifications. He/she should have experience of teaching both curriculums, i.e. Cambridge and CBSE and preferably in a boarding school. Previously should have taught English to senior classes for atleast 5 years. An avid interest in sports and hobbies will be an added advantage.
