Job Summary

:

The B.Com Department is inviting applications for the role of

Faculty

from qualified individuals with a strong academic foundation in

Finance and Accounting

. The ideal candidate should possess a

Master's degree in M.Com

and an undergraduate degree in

B.Com

. A

minimum of 3 years

of teaching or academic research experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified

NET/SLET/KSET

in Commerce or related subjects. The selected faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and departmental development.

Key Responsibilities

:

Teach core and elective subjects in

Commerce, Finance, and Accounting

for B.Com students. Mentor and guide students in academic projects, internships, and skill-building initiatives. Develop and regularly update curriculum, assignments, and assessments in line with academic standards. Contribute to academic research, publications, and faculty development programs. Participate in seminars, workshops, and institutional activities to enhance student learning. Support department operations and initiatives aimed at quality enhancement and innovation.

Qualifications

:

M.Com

or equivalent Master's degree in Commerce - Mandatory*

B.Com

or equivalent Bachelor's degree - Mandatory*

NET / SLET / KSET

in Commerce - Preferred*
Minimum of

3 years

of teaching and/or research experience in higher education

Skills & Competencies

:

Strong conceptual understanding of finance, accounting, taxation, and business law. Ability to simplify complex topics and engage students effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Research-oriented mindset with interest in academic contributions. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, ERP tools) is desirable. Team player with a commitment to academic excellence and institutional growth.
