We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate 3D Artist & Trainer with strong expertise in Blender and Substance Painter. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering, with a demonstrated understanding of production workflows used in gaming, AR/VR, animation, or digital content creation.
This role involves training students, conducting practical workshops, and guiding them through production-ready 3D asset creation. The candidate should be enthusiastic about teaching and able to simplify complex technical concepts for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and mentor students in 3D modeling, texturing, UV mapping, sculpting, lighting, rendering, and asset optimization. o Train students in Blender and Substance Painter workflows used in real-time and animation pipelines. o Demonstrate industry-standard methods for PBR texturing, baking, and material creation. o Guide students in creating portfolio-ready 3D assets, both organic and hard-surface. o Conduct hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and lab sessions. o Collaborate with faculty and students on 3D assets for games, AR/VR applications, and real-time simulations. o Assist in academic projects and ensure consistent progress and quality. o Evaluate student assignments, portfolios, and project work with constructive feedback.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Blender (modeling, sculpting, UVs, rigging basics, shading, and rendering).
Expertise in Substance Painter for PBR materials, masks, generators, and texture baking. o Solid understanding of topology, edge flow, optimization, and 3D pipeline standards. o Familiarity with game-ready asset creation, including poly count management and texture compression. o Ability to explain complex technical workflows in a clear and engaging manner. o Excellent communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Animation, Game Design, Multimedia, VFX, Immersive Technology, or related fields. o Prior experience in teaching, training, or conducting workshops in 3D art. o Basic knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine asset workflow is an added advantage. o A strong professional portfolio showcasing 3D work (mandatory).
