Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Factory Supervisor

to oversee daily operations at our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the workforce, ensuring smooth production, maintaining discipline and cleanliness, achieving production & dispatch targets, and ensuring efficient operations with minimal wastage.

Key Responsibilities



Labour Management:

Supervise, guide, and motivate factory workers to achieve daily and weekly production targets. Ensure proper allocation of manpower across machines and processes. Resolve conflicts among staff and maintain workplace harmony.

Production Management:

Plan, monitor, and execute production schedules to meet company targets. Ensure optimum utilization of machines and resources. Achieve production efficiency with minimum wastage. Monitor packaging and ensure products meet quality and hygiene standards.

Inventory & Dispatch:

Maintain stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods as per company standards. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatches. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety practices across the factory floor. Enforce compliance with FSSAI, GMP, ISO, and company hygiene standards.

Reporting & Compliance:

Maintain production records, wastage reports, and daily shift reports. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Report machine breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance teams for quick resolution.

Team Development & Discipline:

Foster a disciplined and professional environment. Train workers on safety, hygiene, and operational protocols. Conduct periodic performance reviews of workers.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to plan and execute production schedules efficiently. Knowledge of inventory management and dispatch coordination. Good communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong focus on hygiene, safety, and food quality standards. Problem-solving ability with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience



Graduate/Diploma in Food Technology/Operations/Industrial Management (preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a food factory or FMCG environment. Familiarity with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
