Our new production unit started in Musiri - Trichy Dist.

Post: Factory Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize and control production operations to ensure timely delivery according to quality standards. Monitor production workflows, material usage and labor efficiency to minimize waste and optimize output. Develop and implement production schedules in coordination with the planning and merchandising teams. Manage production staff, including supervisors, tailors, and machine operators; oversee training and performance management. Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards across all production lines. Collaborate with the design and sample departments to ensure smooth transition from sampling to bulk production. Liaise with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and trims. Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques to boost efficiency. Maintain detailed production reports, including KPIs such as on-time delivery, defect rates, and downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in good working condition. Resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in garment production management, preferably with focus on woven garments like boxer shorts or innerwear. In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, sewing operations, and production planning. Proficient in using ERP systems and production tracking tools. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with quality standards such as AQL and compliance protocols.
