Job Description

A factory support helper is typically supervised by senior technicians and their duties include:

Maintenance and calibration:

Performing routine checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on various instruments to ensure they function accurately and reliably.

Repair assistance:

Assisting in the repair and replacement of defective parts within electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.

Material preparation:

Organizing and transferring tools, parts, and equipment to and from work areas to support technicians.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports of maintenance and calibration activities.

Assembly and wiring:

Assisting with panel wiring, component assembly, and soldering tasks.

Safety compliance:

Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with factory safety protocols and industry regulations.

Technical support:

Providing support during installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.

Process improvement:

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
