Job Title: Factory Operations Manager - Pods, Panels, Volumetric & Precast/PEB/PFB

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager to lead the offsite manufacturing and production operations for our modular construction division at the Indapur facility. This role focuses on the efficient and high?quality delivery of bathroom/kitchen pods, panelised systems, volumetric modular units,

precast elements, PEB (Pre?Engineered Buildings), PFB (Pre?Fabricated Buildings), and Light Gauge Steel (LGS) structures

within a controlled factory environment.

You will oversee production planning, workflow optimisation, quality control, team leadership, and coordination with other departments such as design, purchasing, HR and onsite construction teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation of our offsite product range.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Manufacturing Management

Lead day-to-day factory operations for pods, panels, and volumetric modules
production.

Develop and execute production schedules aligned with project deadlines. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, CE,
building regs).

Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement
initiatives.

Team Leadership

Manage and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and assembly staff. Ensure adequate staffing, training, and performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

Coordinate material procurement and inventory control. Oversee transportation and delivery of finished modules to project sites. Minimize production delays through proactive supply chain management.
Quality Assurance & Compliance

Establish and enforce QA/QC procedures for panel/pod/modular units. Work with design and engineering teams to assist, feedback and improve the
DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) process.

Address and resolve production defects or non-conformities swiftly.
Process Optimization & Strategic Planning

Oversee performance metrics (KPIs), drive accountability, and report on
operational effectiveness to executive leadership.

Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Collaborate with leadership on long-term manufacturing strategy and capacity
planning.

Drive automation and digitalization initiatives in offsite construction processes.

Results-oriented and hands-on leadership. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication across multidisciplinary teams. Adaptability in a fast-paced, scalable, evolving environment.
Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or
a related field.

Certification in project/operations management (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean Six
Sigma).

Experience in BIM workflows and DfMA principles. Proven experience (15+ years) in an operations or production management role,
ideally in modular/offsite construction.

Strong knowledge of construction systems or at least experience in areas such as
PEB, steel frame, MEP, interior fit-out and external facades.

Experience working in a factory/manufacturing environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement
methodologies.

Proficient in project management tools and ERP/MRP systems. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
