Key responsibilities

Operations management

: Oversee and manage all daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.

Production planning

: Develop and implement production plans to meet manufacturing targets and quotas.

Staff management

: Supervise, train, and support staff to ensure optimal performance, create work schedules, and evaluate performance.

Health, safety, and environment (HSE)

: Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including managing leaks and chemical trials.

Process optimization

: Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Equipment maintenance

: Ensure all plant machinery and equipment are properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime.

Budget and cost control

: Develop and manage the plant budget, control expenses, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Coordination

: Work with other departments like sales, engineering, and logistics to ensure smooth operations, material supply, and delivery schedules.

Reporting

: Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, production metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
