Qualification: BE / B.Tech - Mechanical

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Work Manager / Factory Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, CNC/VMC programming activities, and shop floor management. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality control, machine setup, team leadership, and achieving operational targets while ensuring efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall factory and shop floor operations to ensure smooth and timely production.

Hands-on experience in VMC Milling programming, CNC Turning programming, and product/machine setting.

Operate and supervise conventional machines such as lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines.

Develop and implement production strategies, schedules, and work plans to meet delivery timelines.

Set performance targets, allocate tasks, and monitor productivity of operators and technicians.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, conduct inspections, and reduce rejection and rework.

Coordinate with design, planning, and quality teams for continuous process improvement.

Lead, train, and motivate the production team to maintain high performance and discipline.

Monitor machine utilization, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and tool management.

Ensure compliance with safety norms, SOPs, and company policies.

Prepare daily/weekly production reports and review KPIs.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of CNC & VMC programming and operations.

Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and machining techniques.

Proven experience in production management and team handling.

Ability to set priorities, plan schedules, and achieve production targets.

Good communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.

Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

5-7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing / machining industry.

Experience in handling shop floor teams and quality control systems.

Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working under pressure.
