Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Factory Manager

to oversee operations at our builders hardware manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality control, staff management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Team Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of supervisors, machine operators, and floor staff. Provide training, monitor performance, and maintain discipline.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure strict quality control protocols are followed in the production of locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware items. Work with QA/QC teams to meet ISO standards if applicable.Monitor raw material inventory, coordinate with the purchase department, and ensure timely availability of components and packaging materials.Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure all machinery is running at optimal efficiency. Minimize downtime and resolve any production bottlenecks.Enforce company policies related to safety and ensure compliance with local industrial regulations and environmental standards.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production metrics, labor utilization, and material consumption for management review.

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. 8-15 years of experience in hardware, metal, or mechanical product manufacturing. Proven experience managing a team and factory floor operations. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, machining, plating, polishing, and assembly. Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office. Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managing builders hardware product lines (locks, door fittings, fasteners, etc.) Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
