Responsible for the end-to-end management of the rotor spinning unit, ensuring production targets, quality standards, cost control, and manpower efficiency are achieved while adhering to safety and compliance norms.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Production Management
Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Ensure maximum utilization of machines and manpower.
Minimize machine downtime and address breakdowns promptly.
Monitor shift-wise production performance and output quality.
2.
Quality Control
Ensure the production of yarn meets customer and internal quality specifications.
Work closely with the QC team to reduce waste, contamination, and complaints.
Implement corrective actions for defects or process deviations.
3.
Maintenance Coordination
Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance with the engineering team.
Ensure machines like Schlafhorst, Rieter, or Savio rotors run efficiently.
Maintain machine performance logs and uptime reports.
4.
Manpower Management
Supervise supervisors, technicians, and machine operators.
Plan shift rotations and manage labor productivity.
Train and upskill staff in machine handling, maintenance, and safety.
5.
Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor inventory of raw materials (sliver), spare parts, and consumables.
Optimize production costs, reduce wastage, and improve yarn realization.
Coordinate with stores and purchase departments for timely material supply.
6.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with factory safety norms and labor laws.
Conduct safety drills and maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain statutory records (attendance, overtime, ESI, PF, etc.).
7.
Reporting and Coordination
Maintain daily production reports and KPI dashboards.
Report performance, issues, and improvements to top management.
Liaise with other departments (HR, QA, Marketing, Maintenance).
Required Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of rotor spinning operations (e.g., Autocoro, BD series)
Leadership and team management skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Familiarity with ERP / MIS software
Understanding of yarn standards, customer specs, and compliance requirements

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
