Job Summary

The Factory Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end factory operations, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, cost control, safety, and timely delivery. The role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, production processes, and people management.

Operations & Production

Plan and control daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and materials Improve productivity through process optimization and continuous improvement

Quality & Process Control

Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications Coordinate with QA/QC to minimize defects, rework, and wastage Implement corrective and preventive actions

Maintenance & Engineering

Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment Ensure high machine availability and reduced downtime Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of machinery

Safety, Compliance & Statutory

Ensure compliance with factory acts, safety, and environmental norms Promote safe working practices and conduct safety audits

Cost & Inventory Control

Monitor manufacturing costs and drive cost-reduction initiatives Control inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

Team Leadership

Lead, train, and motivate production, maintenance, and supervisory teams Conduct performance reviews and skill development programs

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare production and performance reports for management Coordinate with planning, procurement, HR, and logistics teams

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

10-15 years of experience in factory / plant operations Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing and mechanical systems

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery Leadership and people management skills Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Kaizen Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in ERP and production planning tools

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
