Job Summary:
The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring seamless coordination across the four key departments:
Logistics & Store, Design, Production, and Accounts
. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong planning, coordination, and people management skills to ensure timely, high-quality production while optimizing cost and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management
Plan and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Ensure adherence to product quality standards, timelines, and customer specifications.
Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks and wastage.
Monitor maintenance of machines and ensure minimum downtime.
2. Logistics & Store Management
Supervise inward and outward logistics of raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain accurate stock levels for raw materials, trims, and finished goods.
Implement inventory control systems (FIFO, bin card, GRN, etc.).
Coordinate with dispatch and courier teams for timely delivery.
3. Design & Product Development
Coordinate with the in-house design team for sampling and new product development.
Oversee design approvals and tech-pack finalization.
Ensure a smooth transition from design to production in alignment with seasonal trends and buyer requirements.
4. Accounts & Cost Monitoring
Work closely with the accounts team to monitor production costs, material purchases, and overall budgeting.
Track labor costs, overheads, and suggest cost optimization strategies.
Approve vendor and supplier payments after validation of delivery and quality.
5. Import Coordination
People Management
Lead and motivate departmental heads to achieve daily targets.
Conduct weekly review meetings and ensure interdepartmental coordination.
Resolve conflicts and grievances, maintaining a healthy work environment.
Reporting & Compliance
Generate weekly MIS reports on production, inventory, cost, and staff performance.
Ensure all statutory and safety compliances are met (e.g., labor laws, factory license, ESI/PF).
Conduct internal audits and support external inspections.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate or Diploma in Textile/Garment Manufacturing/Engineering.
Proven experience in garment manufacturing (preferably baby garments, bedding, or related).
Knowledge of production planning software or ERP is a plus.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure situations.
Preferred Qualities:
Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
Proactive in identifying operational gaps.
Team player with the ability to mentor junior staff.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
