We Are Hiring - Factory Manager (Fabrication & Manufacturing)

Location: Kalyani

Industry: Heavy Fabrication / Access Equipment / Hydraulic Machinery

GOURIKA INDIA LIMITED is seeking a highly experienced Factory Manager with minimum 15 years of proven leadership experience in the fabrication and manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a well-recognized professional with deep expertise in heavy fabrication, process control, and plant management, capable of driving operational excellence and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for factory operations, including fabrication, machining, assembly, painting, and dispatch Lead and manage large fabrication teams, supervisors, and production engineers Ensure on-time production, cost control, and quality compliance Implement and monitor manufacturing processes, SOPs, and productivity improvements Oversee welding procedures, jigs & fixtures, structural fabrication, and QA/QC Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and quality teams Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and audits Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and waste reduction initiatives Handle vendor development, subcontracting, and capacity planning Support testing, inspection, and customer / third-party audits

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in fabrication / heavy engineering manufacturing Strong background in structural steel fabrication, welding, and hydraulic equipment Proven expertise in factory management, manpower planning, and production control Excellent knowledge of welding standards, NDT, QA/QC processes Exposure to IS / CE / EN / customer-specific quality standards Ability to manage high-value, engineered products and custom-built machinery Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Recognized and respected professional within the fabrication industry

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Additional certifications in welding, quality, or operations management will be an advantage
